Known as the "Father of the Hydrogen Bomb", Teller writes in part, "'No one connected with the work on atomic bombs can escape a feeling of grave responsibility…But scientists must find a modest way of looking into an uncertain future. The scientist is not responsible for the laws of nature…It is the scientist's job to find ways in which these laws can serve the human will. It is not the scientist's job to determine whether a hydrogen bomb should be constructed, whether it should be used, or how it should be used. This responsibility rests with the American people and their chosen representatives.' [signed] Edward Teller". Single page measures 7.25" x 10.375". Near fine condition.
