The Tziztzit have 4 hand-tied tassels, every tassel consists of four long white strings according to the Jewish Halacha religious laws
"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, that they shall make themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout their generations..."
When putting the Tzitzit on, one should make the following blessing:
"Blessed are You, O Lord our G-d, King of the Universe, Who has commanded us about the mitzvah of Tzitzit."
Tzitzit are four-cornered, tasseled garments worn by Jewish males as part of the traditional Jewish dress code. The word “tzitzit” means fringes, and any four-cornered garment worn by males is Torah-required to be strung with tassels. In this days we don't
    often
normally wear four cornered shirts, so instead, the positive mitzvah is accomplished simply by wearing a four-cornered garment all the time, and tying the tassels onto that.
Traditionally worn under a shirt, The
    Tallit Katan
(literally the “little tallit”) is a white undergarment shirt worn by the Jews, usually Orthodox or Hasidic, in order to fulfill the commandment given in Numbers 15:38–40 to make such a holy garment,
That you may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them
; and that you seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
That you may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God
. (Num. 15:39–40; also found in Deut. 22:12) Jews wear this garment in remembrance of the covenants they have made with God. It is a rectangular piece of cloth with a large hole cut in the center for the head to pass through, and handmade tzitziyot (fringes or hanging threads, Arba Canfot) attached to the four corners of the garment.1 Worn daily, at all times, customarily by Orthodox men, but also by women. The wearing of it is deemed so important that one site states: “Highly observant Jews will not take four steps without wearing the tzitzit because it is a mitzvah [commandment] to wear it all the time.”
    Tzitzit
or tzitzis ( Ashkenazi) are "fringes" or "tassels" worn by observant Jews on the corners of four-cornered garments, including the tallit (prayer shawl). In Orthodox Judaism, they are worn only by men. Traditional Jews wear a tallit katan ("small prayer shawl") constantly. The tallit katan is also commonly referred to as "tzitzit," though this name technically refers to each of the fringes only, Arba Kanfot, also found on the Tallis prayer shawl
