HERE WE HAVE:
A vintage "Dancerina" doll by Mattel! The copyright date on the box is 1968 and the stock number is 3061. Doll comes in original box (tattered) with an instruction sheet and the "record". She runs on two D batteries, not included. And adjust the knob in her crown to make her dance.
CONDITION:
Acceptable, played with condition! I put batteries in and pushed the crown down, her head moves back and forth and if you hold the crown she will spin around. When I pull the crown up, her legs shimmy around a bit which I guess is the "toe dance". Both types of movement would stop and then restart occasionally, I'm not sure if this is by design or not. The doll has some pen(?) marks on her left arm. Skin has some other little discoloration spots scattered about. Tulle piece on back of skirt has a tear in it. Her hair is a little frizzy, not sure if the hair tie in it is original? Record is a bit misshapen. Box has top flap torn off, but included, and general color loss, staining, and wear/tear throughout.
