Here’s an OLDS ’SPECIAL’ Bb TRUMPET, made in 1947 in Los Angeles, during the height of the post WWII demand boom. The ’Special’ was Olds’ longest-lasting model name, starting before WWII and going all the way up to the company closure in 1979. ‘Specials’ are great horns, and pride of place goes to the LA-made ones. This one won’t disappoint, it’s shiny but shows some age-appropriate wear, plays well, and has lovely engraving. Only selling because I have another one of the same era and I need money.
