Description

Vintage Speed's new cast alum  bases for the front and rear secondary carbs. Super high quality CNC machined for perfect fit.   These will work on all the small base rochester 2g carbs from 1955 thru '69 and some up to '74.  You can use these on any stock rochester primary carb and convert it to a true 3x2 secondary (end carb). Auction is for the set of two (2). These are the finest bases made by anyone. These are the bases we use on our tri power setups and sold by our dealers worldwide. Our cast aluminum alloy with 6061-T6  aluminum throttle plates and all CNC machine work assure you of a quality leak proof base. We lap the throttle plates to the base bores on each and every base on a machine we designed.  The dry poly-graphite applied to the throttle plates in our secondary bases, is yet another layer that prevents air intrusion AND lubricates the plates for easier opening.   Leaky bases cause more tri power problems than any other problem. All throttle arms ,shafts and throttle plates are new.  Another fine part from Charlie Price's Vintage Speed. NOTE--auction is for set of two (2).
