Vintage Shur-Ex Brass Fire Extinguisher Tube Can - The MOTOR Guardian - New York

Description

Vintage Shur-Ex brass fire extinguisher with mounting bracket and glass insert.  It was made by International Fire Equipment Corp., West New Brighton, Staten Island, N.Y., USA.  It is in very condition for its age with no dents or major scratches present.  The brass cap and bottom will polish up nicely if someone so desires.  The extinguisher has a black finish with painted front label over the brass. The label is in excellent condition.  The extinguisher includes the original glass tube insert, which is empty.  Removal of the glass has not been attempted for fear of breakage.  Looking inside the extinguisher, the glass appears as if it is intact.
The extinguisher measures ~ 8” in length with a diameter of 2.5”.  Please see photos for details of condition.  Extinguisher is Empty.
