Description

Vintage S.O.S. FIRE GUARD Brass 1½ Qt., Heavy Duty Fire Extinguisher. Manufactured by The General Detroit Corp., Detroit, Mich.  Last patent is 2252814 (1940). The label is a new brass reproduction but the body of the extinguisher is original and an age appropriate model. It is in overall good condition with some pin head sized dents and a couple of larger dents on the back side, so it will still display well (see pictures for imperfections). Measures approx. 17.5" tall by 3" in diameter
. The extinguisher has been machine buffed, hand polished, and clear coated. The extinguisher is
EMPTY
and the pump handle does move in and out  but it is being sold as a collectible item only.
I will not accept any bids, or offers, from buyers with a feedback rating of less than 10.
