    Description

    Vintage brass FYR MAN 1 quart fire extinguisher, manufactured by The Fyr-Fighter Co., Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A.  There are cool graphics on the front plaque of an eagle above a circle; inside the circle there is a ladder with a fire helmet in the middle and two crossed bugles and two crossed plaster hooks.  This is an older version of the Fyr-Fyter extinguisher.
    There are no dents.  The lacquer coating on the extinguisher shows wear which is commensurate with the age of the extinguisher. The handle slides in and out freely
    .  The discharge hole on this extinguisher is at the top rim as opposed to the bottom, which is normally seen. Extinguisher measures ~13” long with a diameter of 3”.  Please see photos for detail of condition.  It is Empty.
