Vintage Dry Powder Tin Tube PHOENIX Fire Extinguisher. Manufactured by the Phoenix Fire Appliance Co., New York City, New York. Originally on sale for .00. Says it was "Patented April 25, 1899". The extinguisher is empty and in overall fair condition. It has its share of dents, rust, and paint loss. The label is about 95% legible. Measures approx. 22" long by 2.25" in diameter. It is a fine example of vintage tube type extinguishers for the beginner collector or a good shelf filler for the more advanced collector.
