Vintage Drug Store Advertising, Hemenway Drug Co, 1963 Calendar & Thermometer

Description

For sale is a promotional calendar and thermometer for the Hemenway Drug Co. located in Boston, MA. The mint green metal frame, with glass front, holds a thermometer (working) on the left and displays a calendar under the store information on the right. The insert is detailed in gold borders and abstract floral motif. The calendar is a small pad that begins with May 1963 and continues through December. The pharmacy has a five digit phone number. As is, the calendar is not self standing; it has a fold down piece on back or holes for hanging.
This piece is in good vintage condition with no damage and very light wear. The fold down stand on rear does not appear to have been bent.
