Vintage 1955 Kidde US Air Force jet CO2 fire extinguisher with swivel nozzle

Vintage Kidde US Air Force 1955 CO2 Fire Extinguisher with swivel nozzle.
The Walter Kidde carbon dioxide fire extinguisher is stamped USAF. The partly charged extinguisher weighs about 13 1/2 pounds. It stands approximately 16 inches tall and about 5 inches in diameter. When fully discharged it would weigh 10 pounds according to the stamp on the metal discharge assembly shown.
It has an old-style US Air Force military specification number and is painted a light green over the original red, which shows through where the paint has been scraped in several areas.
It was used on the 49th Fighter Interceptor Squadron flight line at the former Griffiss Air Force Base.
It is in good vintage used condition.
