Official License Plate No. 8945 [ Matched Pair ] from the Panama Canal Commission
This is a matching pair of license plates (# 8945) issued by the Panama Canal Commission in1980 after the integration of the governments of the Panama Canal Zone and the country of Panama into a jointly run commission so that Panama could prepare to manage the Panama Canal Zone on its own at the end of 1999. The plates are in new or almost new condition. The pair will look great when displayed on a wall.
I saw that someone recently paid 5 for a single of these plates on eBay. This is a matched pair in very nice condition. This is the only matched pair I have seen. I often list other items from Panama or the Canal Zone at the same time, so please check my other auctions.
