    Description

    St. Louis Cardinals Signed Hat.
    New Era 59Fifty Authentic Diamond Collection.  100% Wool.  Made in the USA.  Fitted 7 1/4.
    Hat has the New Era labels that were used in 1996-1997.
    Hat could be minor league game used, but we can't be sure of this.  Hat belonged to "Fisher."  It is signed under the brim by Mel Stotlemyre Jr. and has one other unidentified autograph.
    Mel Stottlemyre Jr. was the pitching coach for UNLV and several (four) Minor League baseball teams.  In 2009 he was named the pitching coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks.  In Oct. 2015 he was named the pitching coach for the Seattle Mariners.  In Dec 2018 Mel Jr. was made the pitching coach of the Miami Marlins.
    Hat could be, and seems to be game-worn by a minor leager, but we have no way to confirm this.
