Silverplate/gold Olds Super Trumpet Fullerton 1968

Description

Olds Super Bb Trumpet (Fullerton CA) around 1968. It features the standard Olds Medium Large Bore. The serial number is 640xxx. This is a beautiful horn that sounds as good as it looks.
I purchased this horn in 2015 and have used it very little, Not enough to justify keeping it.
From the previous owner....
"I have enjoyed this one for the past 13 years after purchasing it from The Bach Shop who expertly restored it to Better-Than-New condition in 2007, adding silver plate enhanced with gold plate trim in the slides and bell tone ring, plus a gold wash in the bell. The valves and slides were fully reconditioned and are very smooth and very fast. The horn was in good shape before the Bach Shop restoration work and did not require major dent removal or other metal rework beyond minor dings. The horn is very good condition, musically, functionally, and cosmetically. There are no dents or dings. There are a few slight hair-line scratches from routine polishing. as is common with any silver plating. The gold plated trim has faded a bit with wear over the past few years but still looks very nice and is not worn through."
No mouthpiece is included.  Will ship in a near-new Gator black slimline leatherette case. Sale to US buyers only.
