The Schilke B1 Bb Trumpet The B1 was the preferred Bb trumpet of the legendary Renold O. Schilke and is the basis in design for the other B & X Series instruments. Distinguished by its free and open feel, this trumpet is among the most popular Schilke models, allowing the player the diversity in sound color from a rich, full bodied dark sound to a brilliant ringing tone when desired.. The B1 features a .460 step bore combined with a #1 taper light-gauge one-piece yellow brass bel with an unsoldered bell beadl. This instrument includes the original Schilke double case
This instrument is brand new. We purchased it from a music store that was liquidating inventory and the only time it has been out of the original packaging was when we took it out for photos.
