Reynolds 1951 Emperor Model Trumpet Restored And Ready To Play

Description

This is a Reynolds 1951 (serial number look up) Emperor Trumpet.  This horn has a silver plated bell, and outer ferrel on all the tuning slides giving it a unique look.  The sound is dark and powerful.  It comes with the original mouthpiece and a new union station case.  (I do have the original case, so if you want it instead of the new one, please message me upon purchase and I'll switch out the case). The older case functions and looks about what you would expect a case from 1951 to look like.   Both latches still work, though the spring on one side is a bit sluggish.  The new union station case it is pictured with, is new and functions great.  There isn't any pitting on the valves.   This horn has been fully cleaned and wiped down.   All new valve felts and corks, and all the slides move.  Further reading on this model can be found at https://contemporacorner.com/trumpets/reynolds-trumpets/
