Vintage Rare Swedish PYRENE brass 1 Qt., Fire Extinguisher (Kemisk Eldslackare). Manufactured by the Pyrene Company Limited, Brentford, England. It was manufactured for Danielson Forssberg & Co. (DAFO), Stockholm, Sweden. DAFO was founded in 1919 and is Sweden's oldest manufacturer and wholesaler of fire
equipment and is still in existence today. Not sure of the date of manufacture of this extinguisher but you will see a copy of an early 1930's ad in the pictures. Extinguisher is

, machine buffed, hand polished and clear coated. It is in overall excellent condition except for some paint loss and fading on the label. There are two brass labels, one larger one for Pyrene and a smaller DAFO label. The extinguisher measures approx. 13" tall by 3" in diameter. The pump handle does move in and out but the extinguisher is being sold as a collectible item only.
