RARE Scodwell "HARRY JAMES" Replica Balanced Trumpet Great Playing Horn

Regretfully, I have to sell my Scodwell “Harry James” Replica trumpet.
This horn was a “Limited Edition” model, of which there were only 8 trumpets made.
It was built in 2008 and has been my backup horn for three years.
Patterned closely after the 1965 King Silver Sonic balanced Harry James model. This Scodwell horn is as close to the original as could be made, with the exception of the bell. Tony Scodwell used a fully annealed yellow brass bell as the silver bells available today are not the same as what King made especially for Harry James in those days. This horn plays as wide open with that James brilliance he was so famous for and of course it is in the balanced configuration.
It is inscribed "Harry James" like Harry's own personal KING trumpets were engraved.
It is a .460 bore, made with Kanstul parts, and Carolbrass valves. The valve compression is excellent, and the silver plate/gold lacquer has no dents and only minor surface scratches. The Scodwell serial number is #0246
The trumpet will be shipped without a case or mouthpiece, with insurance.
