    Description

    A rare 6 3/8" medium size aqua pleated Hayward Hand Grnade Fire Extinguisher bottle from the 1880s... You are only buying the ONE larger bottle on the left....(the smaller size is listed separately)... This bottle is completely empty as you can plainly see in the pics.....

    (on bottom).......HAYWARD'S HAND FIRE GRNADE TRADE MARK emb on top of red lead seal in tiny letters....Hand blown in mold....hand tooled ring lip.....aqua....round with pleated hollow ribs around the bottle....6 3/8"tall (medium size).... Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean empty bottle with no haze. This "Fire Grnade" acted like a grnade....it was to be thrown at the base of a fire. When the grnade broke it would release a cloud of gas which was supposed to extinguish the fire
    . If you're wondering why I have misspelled one word, I am forced to in order to adhere to ebay policy ..A hole has been drilled through the top seal to drain the contents, so the bottle is completely empty.....
