    Description

    Rare vintage late 1930’s Vega Power Model Professional Trumpet in original condition manufactured in Boston Mass. Pat. “D” Serial No. 4001X.  High quality hand-made trumpet with exclusive short stroke valves with matching S/Ns.  Outstanding Condition with only minor dings and scratches, very little wear on the original lacquer, no evidence of any repairs. Main tuning slide can extent to the Key of A when extended. The lacquer as darkened to a very nice gold finish.
    Comes with Original Case in great shape that tightly cradles horn and has solid latches with good springs.
    The braces are solid and the bell as a nice ring when flicked with finger. The engraving is sharp and clear, (please review photos).  Solid well-built trumpet with impressive nickel accents.
    Valves are unique short stroke, have buttery fast smooth action with excellent compression and alignment
    Horn has a quick response with a huge dense centered medium-dark tone with excellent intonation
