Ralph Kiner was a former star MLB player and broadcaster who was one of the great power hitters in baseball history. Ralph played for the Pittsburg Pirates, Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians during his short ten year major league career which was cut short due to injuries. However, during that period of time, Ralph was named to six consecutive All-Star teams (1948-1953) and amazingly led the National League in Home Runs in seven consecutive seasons (1946-1952.), A back injury ended his career at age 32. In retirement, Ralph became a baseball announcer / broadcaster and broadcast New York Mets games for 53 seasons. This was the third longest tenure for any baseball broadcaster. Long considered one of the true gentleman of baseball, Ralph passed away in 2014 at the age of 91. Ralph was a very special player and announcer, and his hat would be a wonderful gift for any Pirates, Mets or MLB fan. Get this rare hat while you can.
