The CMYK Color Guide from Pantone lets print providers, brand managers, and designers visualize, communicate, and control colors for type, logos, borders, backgrounds, and other graphics treatments to be printed in CMYK. This guide contains a total of 2868 CMYK colors, 1889 of which are coated and 1653 of which are uncoated. The colors are chromatically arranged and are marked to identify which have a Pantone Matching System (PMS) Formula Guide equivalent. Colors without an asterisk are unique, meaning they don't have a close PMS Spot Color equivalent, making them suitable for branding, packaging, and materials used in smaller brand campaigns where fresh, less-exposed colors are preferred.
This guide is calibrated to exacting G7 specifications for more accurate and consistently achievable results in real-world printing conditions. This means that tints will closely match color appearance in your CMYK Guide when proofed or printed using G7-press reference conditions.
