The Story ~ My parents were cleaning out their basement where they have been living for over 50 years ago because they have decided to move into a condo......
Well ~ I guess you do not want me to tell you all of my parents life story & mine too....on how I was their favorite son & their "pride & joy" to them through the years
..... so I will get to the main story !!! ~ ;0)
They found this Lyon & Healy trumpet cornet in my father's old storage chest....My father forgot all about he still had this when he was a young one growing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan ~
My father is 91 years "young" & that gives you a little bit on how old it is ~
It is one owner & about 1930's~1940's but maybe a little older because his parents gave it to him as a gift.....but do not know for sure the age ???
My father never knew that he still had this & thought that his parents or he got rid of it many moons ago....so he was shocked & surprised that he still had it in his old storage chest that has been never opened until now ~
The Lyon & Healy was a GREAT shock to him & almost gave him another heart attack when he seen his beloved one again !!! ~ ;0)
Well ~ I would love to tell all of my whole life story to you but will save that for another day !!! ~ ;0)

It's a beautiful Lyon & Healy w/ that old classic style from many moons ago !!!
It shows some light silver wear but no major dents or holes but just a few very light denting that you can hardly see ~

It has one light weld joint loose that connects both tubes in front but is still strong all together....
Just noticed that at the weld joint it looks to be repaired with a piece of strip of metal over top of the weld...it must of been repaired at some point of it's lifetime but did not know this until I looked at it very very very closely !!!

Mother of Pearl white three push down buttons & valves move smooth as silk & light w/ no sticking !!!
I decided not to clean it because I think it looks better as it looks now & gives it classic character ~
I will let buyer decide to clean it if they choose to do so but think you will depreciate the classic look & value !!!
~ It's a beautiful one & shows some age but you would to if you are this old !!!
