Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat antique brass fire extinguisher. The extinguisher is a Fyr-Fyter hand pump extinguisher made by The Fyr-Fyter Company in Dayton, Ohio. This is the Super Model fire extinguisher. The label on the front states that it was inspected by Underwriter Laboratories and also shows a picture of a young child in a firefighter costume and holding a hand pump fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher works by using the hand pump on the top of the extinguisher. It is made of brass with a brass label on the front and the wall mounting bracket is on the back of the extinguisher. The extinguisher is being sold for collectible purposes only and is not meant to be used. This neat fire extinguisher would make a great addition to any firefighting memorabilia collection!
A small dent is in the front. Some white paint is on the back of the extinguisher and the mounting bracket. Typical light to mild age and use wear. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 13 1/2” long and 3 1/4” in diameter.
