I had this hat personally signed years ago when these players made an appearance on August 20, 1999, during "Negro League Night" at Tropicana Field when the Kansas City Royals played the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The hat has been on display in a smoke-free home and in a room with very little sunlight for the past decade or so.
