Description
When the spotlight is on you it's GoTime! The Legends GoTime is a great piece for those solo/lead and upper register players who prefer a grip rim. It has an inside diameter of .620" and a shallow bowl shaped cup, which is a great combination for upper register work. It has the Legends LA (medium focused) backbore, which is a commercial backbore with great sizzle, core, and enhanced upper harmonics. This mouthpiece has all the elements of a high-compression lead mouthpiece with the added advantage of a grip rim. A rim that slips can cause an airy sound when tonguing. Many players try to compensate by using more pressure to secure the mouthpiece, leading to lip swelling and other problems. The GoTime grip rim is specially designed to be secure on the embouchure, which addresses the above problems and in turn improves overall endurance and sound.
