Description
The Funkin Screamin has a wide, medium flat rim that is rounded on the inside. It is a comfortable rim that is wide enough to offset lip swelling. There is a high alpha angle going into the cup, with no undercut for chop room. It's going to feel like the .590" inside diameter it is. The cup is a shallow V, and the entrance to the throat is very receptive for plenty of air flow and a nice big sound. Slotting is excellent. For those familiar with the Legends Funkin Groovin, this model is very similar, but has a smaller inside diameter. This mouthpiece is well suited for "screamin' high above the staff"!

This piece was inspired by a classic mouthpiece familiar to many, but has been modified with the Legends enhanced throat (#27), enhanced throat cylinder length, and Legends S backbore. These design elements maximize endurance, range and sound for the player.
This mouthpiece is kept in stock in three blanks: lightweight, standard weight, and heavyweight. The lightweight blank adds extra sizzle for more of a lead, or 'Las Vegas' sound. The heavyweight blank is extremely efficient; the added mass creates enriched slotting and core of sound. Standard weight is a nice balance of both.
