Description
The Legends Showtime is a great piece for those players who need a little extra grip on the rim. A rim that slips can cause an airy sound when tonguing. Many players try to compensate by using more pressure to secure the mouthpiece, leading to lip swelling and other problems. The Showtime rim is specially designed to be secure on the embouchure, which addresses the above problems and in turn improves overall endurance and sound. The Showtime cup is medium shallow to shallow (similar to Bach D/E). Combined with the 0.615” inside diameter, this setup is good for upper register work. The Legends LA backbore is a commercial backbore with great sizzle, core, and enhanced upper harmonics. The Showtime is a good choice for studio musicians, commercial players and on-stage performers.
