Directions
You'll need: **3/4 Cup Milk **1 Egg **4 Tbsp Butter, Melted (for Crust) **Tip **For easy serving, chill Pumpkin Pie Bars before cutting. **1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 8x8-inch pan. **2. Whisk filling mix and other ingredients **Whisk filling mix, milk and egg until smooth. Allow to sit while crust bakes. **3. Stir with a fork **Stir crust mix and melted butter using a fork until blended. **Press evenly into bottom of pan. **Bake 5 minutes. **4. Whisk filling mixture again and pour over hot crust. **Bake 32-35 minutes or until filling is set and center does not jiggle when lightly shaken. Cool before cutting. Store in refrigerator. **High Altitude: No adjustment necessary.
Safe Handling Instructions
DO NOT EAT RAW BUTTER.
EASY TO MAKE: Whisk pumpkin pie bar mix, milk and egg until smooth and set aside. Stir melted butter into the crust mix until dough is blended, and press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 5 minutes. Whisk pumpkin pie filling mixture again, then pour over the hot crust. Bake for an additional 32-35 minutes. Chill in the fridge for one hour, slice into bars, and enjoy!
MAKE IT YOUR OWN: Add texture and flavor to your bars with mix-ins like chocolate or butterscotch chips, raisins, or cinnamon and brown sugar. Top with whipped cream or a cream cheese layer to make into a pumpkin cheesecake!
