Holton Galaxy Trumpet 1964 - Pro Model Refurbished - Case and Holton 67 MP Bore: .462 - Serial# 380***
The last year of the pro model Galaxy with Nickle lead-pipe and bell. The elusive and impossible to find 3rd slide lock is present on this horn. Lacquer at 75%, tuning slide appears to have been stuck at one point and shows some compression around the tuning slide crook, it was not stuck when I received it, I pushed out the compression on the tuning slide as much as possible without disassembly. Valves feel nice and compression is excellent, all is smooth and horn comes with the original case in good condition and a Holton Model 67 mouthpiece.

Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed
Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by
NAPBIRT and
Wayne Tanabe of Yamaha)
Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour)
Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale
***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.

If your instrument is damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or instrument.
