Suitable for all situations, "One" was originally designed to be free blowing, open and dark. Now available in all configurations including versatile, lead and jazz. You can easily scream with a lead piece, but it was designed to win over the audience with warmth, depth and a vocal breadth. Slightly lighter than the standard Summit, this horn's higher efficiency makes it extremely easy to play wide intervals at any dynamic level. The energy you put into this horn is amplified and vocalized almost like a real human voice. Play softer or louder than any horn you've ever owned.

History
Jason Harrelson, founder of Harrelson Trumpets, was playing a 60's Bach Stradivarius in 1992. When asked to trade horns for a few minutes, he took his friend's brand new Bach Strad 37 into a practice room and was promptly blown away. The new Bach played circles around his own horn! And his friend returned the vintage Bach complaining that it didn't play very well. This was the beginning of what has become the world's most comprehensive resource for the advancement of brass instrument technology. Jason began experimenting with trumpet design and the tedious work of dispelling hundreds of unfounded brass playing myths. Three years later, he began formally exploring the physics of sound and brass instrument design in the physics lab under the supervision of an accomplished acoustician. His mentor was the lead physicist working with Yamaha to re-design their line of acoustic guitars. Needless to say, Jason listened, learned and eventually dropped out of college to pursue his passion designing, building and performing a new breed of brass instruments. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our auctions! The story of my company starts right here with this eBay account, nearly 20 years ago. On September 11th, 2001 the United States was attacked, and the world changed seemingly overnight. At the time, I was a young craftsman who had just a year earlier graduated from the most reputable musical instrument repair program in the world, Minnesota State College, in Red Wing, MN. I had taken a position as an Apprentice with a premiere Custom Trombone manufacture in the Boston, MA area. While I was fortunate enough to keep my job after a series of layoffs that came after the attacks, my hours were drastically cut back to 15 hours a week. Driven by the necessity to put food on the table I engaged the passion I had for vintage musical instruments, and the skills I had learned into my own business. If you’ll notice the date when this eBay account was started, (Sept. 28, 2001) is a snapshot in time, when my life changed, and I started to realize an amazing opportunity in life that has become something truly remarkable. I have always enjoyed finding quality instruments, properly servicing and conditioning them, and making them available here to the eBay community.
