Handmade, Antique Desk Organizer

Description

Handmade, Folkly Desk Organizer. I’m unsure of the metal used, but it is sturdy and solid. Best I can tell, the bottom reads “JAN 1911” (see pictures). 5.125”W x 4.125”D x 4”H.
Can hold up to 5 pens/pencils and has three compartments for other small desk items (e.g., paper clips, push pins) — paper clip for scale. The round compartment was likely originally designed to hold an inkwell.
Please note
that the cradles for holding the pens/pencils are a bit narrower than most modern pens/pencils and that the width of the cradle openings generally increases from top to bottom. Modern pens/pencils can still be held by resting on top of the cradles, but they don’t sit securely in the openings. Someone handy could probably widen the openings.
