This lot is a group of three Miles Laboratories advertising booklets circa the 1920s given as advertising booklets by drugstores of the era. The booklets include: Housekeeping, The Daily Diet, and Ask Another One, being a booklet with trivia. The booklets all provide useful information but also ads for Miles Laboratories products: Dr. Miles' Nervine, Dr. Miles' Anti-Pain Pills, Dr. Miles' Tonic, Dr. Miles' Alterative Compound, Dr. Miles' Cactus Compound, Dr. Miles' Little Pills, Dr. Miles' Laxative Tablets, Alka-Seltzer, and Dr. Miles' Aspir-Mint. One of the ads refers to the National Barn Dance that started in 1924 and eventually became the Grand Old Opry. The booklets are 34 pages each. Size: 4.75" X 6.25". Condition: Good to XF with a few stains on one. The Ask Another One booklet was given by Harvey & Carey Stores, a drugstore chain in at least NY and PA.
