CONN CONNSTELLATION trumpet Model 38B

Description

Here is a CONN CONNSTELLATION trumpet model 38B.  In spite of the heavy external wear with much of the nickel plating having flaked off, the inside is in good condition.  And boy...is it a player. It used to belong to a friend who owned it for over 45 years to play lead in big band and everything else. It is an Elkhart instrument made about 1961-1962. Valves and slides all work smoothly. Mouthpiece receiver was replaced at some time.  First valve slide is missing the trigger mount and connecting rod and screw but I have the actual trigger and spring to go with it.  One of the bottom valve caps was replaed with a nickel one.  There is a small patch on the second valve slide. Lots of wear in the bell where he inserted mutes rather quickly.
Very few dings....mostly exterior wear.
Horn could be a candidate for restoration or just enjoy it as is.
