The Castelli Women’s Palmares Due Short is great for those daily and social weekend bike rides that are for exercise and fun. These Castelli women’s cycling shorts have excellent moisture management. As you sweat, the cycling shorts absorb and then quickly evaporate body moisture to keep you dry and comfortable. The soft-to-touch fabric provides all the comfort needed to enjoy riding your bike ride whether it’s a long endurance ride or a short spin after work. Even the waist has a soft band to keep the shorts in place and still ensure complete comfort as you are bent over in the cycling position. The same fabric also has just the right stretch to deliver a pair of cycling shorts that cover every part of your skin with no material creasing or snagging on your seat. The KISS3 Donna women’s-specific seat pad has Castelli technology designed into its layered structure. The layer closest to the skin is a seamless super-soft brushed Microfiber that exponentially diminishes any possibility of chafing. The bacteriostatic treatment prevents infection. The padding is multi-layered so the areas that have the most pressure have the most padding. The padding then tapers into thinner padding where there is less pressure. By having a multi-layered structure there is less bulk. The entire seat pad is anatomically shaped to fit a woman’s anatomy. Castelli has perfected the women’s chamois because they were one of the manufacturers who first began designing women-specific cycling bib-shorts and cycling shorts. Good for temperatures ranging from 53 F to 86 F (12 C to 30 C).
