Bob Feller was one of the great right-handed pitcher in the history of MLB. Nicknamed "Bullet Bob" and "Rapid Robert," Bob pitched between 1936 and 1956, but he lost four years to military service during World War II. During his career. Bob won 266 games and he surely would have won well over 300 if he hadn't missed the four years of military service. In his 18 seasons, all of which he pitched for the Indians, Bob had 279 complete games, a 3.25 e.r.a. and 2581 strikeouts (which was third most all-time at the time of his retirement.)  Ted Williams thought Bob was the "fastest" and "best" he ever faced and Stan Musial said that Bob was probably the best pitcher of their generation. Bob was a fireballer and probably the fastest pitcher of his time (if not of All-Time,)  Bob helped the Indians win the 1948 World Series
and he was an 8-time All-Star and he led the American League in strikeouts 7-times and wins 6-times. He threw 3 no-hitters during his career and Bob was named to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. Bob passed away at age 92 in 2010. He was one of the true icons in baseball history. His hat, which was the type that he wore during the 1950's, would be a special addition for any Indians fan or true baseball lover.
