Antique FIREEN Tin Tube Fire Extinguisher

Antique Dry Powder Tin Tube FIREEN Fire Extinguisher. Manufactured by The Safety First Fire Extinguisher Co., Allentown, Pa.  No patent date but assume it to be of a late 1800's to early 1900's vintage. To all of the haters out there, this extinguisher does NOT (and never has) contain carbon tetrachloride. This extinguisher is filled with a mixture of harmless bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and common salts. It has a few shallow indentations, a few scratches, and some surface rust. The pictures actually make it look better than it really is. In actuality it is a little darker than in the pictures. Measures approx. 10¾" long by 2⅝" in diameter.
Unless my items are listed as New or MIB (Mint In Box/Bag) they are used, so expect there to be some wear and signs of usage. I sell many types of items, and I may not be an expert on everything (or anything) I sell, so please ask questions about things that are important to you before buying from me.
