    Description

Antique Fire Extinguisher labeled "MONARCH FIRE KILLER", it seems to be a powder fire extinguisher and feels like it what never used so still full.
Manufactured by G.S. & A.J. Howe Co., 20 Foster Street, Worcester, Mass
It is in very good condition (please see photos) with some scrapes and scratches but seems quite remarkable compared to pictures of other tube extinguishers I have seen here on eBay.  Has instructions to "Hang on Strong Nail or Hook." and provides instructions on label (see photos):
"Pull down sharply thus removing cover.  Scatter contents forcibly into base of flame."
For chimney fires, it says (see photos):
"Throw a few handfulls into any opening below the flame, the draft will carry the light powder up instantly and kill the fire."
    Lastly, it instructs (see photos):
"Never sprinkle the powder.  Always throw forcibly."
I have no idea how old this is but looks pretty old to me!!  I have not weighed it yet but it is fairly heavy(guessing 3 pounds, will come back and update), thinks that means the tube is still completely full with powder, especially since I hear no internal noise when shaking it.  It seems to be made out of a fairly substantial metal as no give when I press it and very hard when I knock knuckles against it.
Maybe above info not interesting to you but trying to give you as much info as I can.  Only other thing I know is that my father bought it in the 80's as an antique as he collected fire signs and sometimes branched out into things he thought were interesting.
Happy to answer any questions you may have.  I am not sure how much it will cost to ship but when I weigh it and examine options will update the shipping cost.  I figured should cover for now.
    Thanks for looking.
