    Description

Genuine 426 Max Wedge TMP block  timing cover flex plate and 2 carter 4672 750 cross ram carbs.
    Its the real deal.
    Crank sold separately!
Its been in my garage for eternity. Its .060 over. There is no wear showing in the measurements of the bores as the bores are still exactly .060. No ring lips. Might get away with a simple hone. It would still show discoloration but may be technically fine as is with hone. May need to be bored. These blocks have tons of meat on them and can be bored a full 130 over.regardless and use 440 pistons.
Build date 9-22-62 making it an original Stage 2 motor. See images of the boss casting date and block casting number. .
The bores have only very minor visual oxidation. The water jacket shows a pinned crack which can be seen in the images through the casting number. I added an image with yellow lines to show where the crack is. The shop I took to says that the crack was pinned a long time ago and cant say if that pin work is still ok or not.
My analysis is that I would have that crack pressure tested and see f needs anything otherwise its fine as is. The most it would need is some additional pins which is very low cost for a super rare block like this
. Most people dont know you can go a full 130 over on these blocks making it the same as 440 .060. over.  Adds a lot of cubes!
Includes a pair of 4672 HP 750 CFM Carter carbs which are perfect cross ram clone carbs. I think I have a set of head and pan bolts I can throw in and a set of manifold pan hold downs.
I will also listen to reasonable offers or if you dont wants the carbs etc  etc. just message me.
Shipping is the big hassel. I can get it on a pallet but Im not set up with a fork lift. I can ship at cost anywhere.Or you can pick it up or have a shipper pick it up. We can get it worked out if your out of the area.
The Motor is in Los Angeles county. we are relocating so no returns. I have done my best to describe it accurately. Ask anything.
