    Description

    19th CENTURY CAPE COD ORIGINAL ALL-THERE FIRE BUCKET.
    THIS AUTHENTIC MID-19th CENTURY LEATHER FIRE BUCKET HAS ALL ITS PARTS,
    INCLUDING METAL STUDS/RIVETS  ORIGINAL IRON ATTACHMENT RINGS, LEATHER HANDLE AND
    LINING.
    THE IRON BAND AT THE TOP IS IN TACT.
    Condition reflects a lot of use in extinguishing fire.
    The surface shows signs of layers of repainting,
    and the upper interior lining MOST rivets have
    separated from the lining
    where the lining itself has significant upper losses.

    Size: Height of bucket (not including extra 9-inch strap handle) 10 inches
    9 3/4 inches across top
    Remarks: This fire bucket does not pretend to be one of the examples with artistic decals.
    Those, of course, may sell for well into the thousands. But a "relic" such as this from an American
    site with a complete handle is fairly scarce. And this one has its charm.
