Hard to find U.S. Virgin Islands passenger car license plate from the 1950's. Heavily used condition with dents, scrapes, rust, paint spots, discolored paint (darken color may have been caused by an application of lacquer which was a common practice in the early days of plate collecting) and other signs of use.
