1950s Getzen Super Deluxe Tone-Balanced Professional Bb trumpet for sale. This early 1950s top model from Getzen has been professionally refinished. The art deco style of the horn is quite eye-catching. The original valve plating is in good shape but there is some loss of compression as with most vintage horns. Slides still pop when pulled and I felt it was fee-blowing and not “stuffy” whenever I played it. I found the tone quality to be very bright for me, so I decided to sell it off from my collection. The bell seems very lightweight even with the added tone ring. It does not come with a mouthpiece. I played it with a modern GR mouthpiece and had no problem with fitment. The case is a Getzen but it is not original to the instrument. This trumpet will be very carefully packed, shipped insured and tracked. shipping applies to continental USA.
